Tip of the Week - Make Your Own Bluetooth Sound System

This is the first Tip of the Week. I will walk you thought simple steps to set up your own Bluetooth sound system for your office or small room.


There are others ways of doing this but here is how I did it. Maybe this will give you other ideas.

What you will need:
•30 pin bluetooth adapter........ Around $5 on eBay

•Apple iPhone dock (does not have to be Apple brand).......... Around $5 on eBay

•30 pin iPod charger........... Around $5 on eBay

• Speakers with a 3.5mm

The iPhone dock you need has to have a 3.5mm Line Out.

Let's get started!

The black box is the Bluetooth adapter.

The white box is the iPhone dock.

The big round things on the left and right are speakers.

Plug the speakers into the iPhone dock as shown bellow.

Plug in the Bluetooth accessory and pair your audio device. The code is usually 0000.

After you put in the code (0000) you now can enjoy your music wirelessly. The only problem is Bluetooth only reaches to around 30 feet. Past that and your music is out.
